from CDG Airport to Rennes with train

My family and me we arrive in CDG airport how i can go to Rennes by train from there . There is a direct connection with TGV or I need to go first to Gare de Montparnasse .

If the second option is the one . Can i use a taxi or AF bus?

Thanks in advance

You will be able to take the TGV from the CDG Terminal 2 station direct to Rennes. The direct trains only run a few times per day, but you could also catch a TGV to Rennes with one train change (I think it might be in Le Mans)

We did this in June and it was quite easy. If your flight arrives at Terminal 2, simply follow the %26quot;Gare - TGV%26quot; signs which will direct you to the stairs or escalators that go down to the

TGV train station. It is right under the terminal. Do not go to the RER station.

If your flight arrives at terminal 1 or 3, then of course you will first have to get to terminal 2. You can do a search for how to do this in this forum (use the search box above your original post, not the one in the upper left-hand corner.

You will want to make sure there is enought time between when your flight arrives and the train departs, because sometimes there is a wait to get off the flight and get into the terminal.

Do you know about prem fares? If you know you will take a specific train on a certain day, you can save much $ by ordering prem fare tickets through the SNCF website. But you must order will in advance.

Also, if you are very exhausted when you get to Rennes, there are several okay hotels right across the square from the Rennes TGV station. So all you have to do is walk across the square (it%26#39;s more of circle really) to your hotel, then you can crash or walk around for a bit.

thank you very much for the informations .

Just a couple of question

1. how i can find the timetables for the tgv trains from CDG .from www.tgv.com i can find only trains from Gare dy montparnasse to Rennes

2 what is the prem fare tickets?

I am travelling from Paris to Rennes, can I get a ticket at the station for the TVG on the day I go? ie without a reservation?

By their nature, all TGV trains are reservation only. However, you very easily could be able to buy a ticket the day of departure. When the word %26#39;reservation%26#39; is used with French trains it refers to the fact that you have a reserved seat, rather than open seating.
