Normandy hotels with disabled facilities

I want to take my elderly mother to Normandy for a few days and am looking for a good hotel we could use as a base that has disabled facilities. Does anyone know of one?

I%26#39;m not too worried about the price or the locality, though would prefer something that wasn%26#39;t too much of a drive to the sea.

Many thanks.

Hi, I have just looked at the Novotel website which is a reasonably central hotel in Bayeux it advertises facilities for less mobility persons and ramps - Mercure is another group which has numerous hotels throughout the region. The smaller motel type lodges like Campanile may pose some problems although I know from experience that there is usually atleast one disabled room which can be booked in advance. With the larger hotel groups you may get better service as they usually speak English and it is possible to email them directly to iron out any queries you may have before you arrive such as lifts to floors etc.

Hope you find an suitable answer.
