Train travel from Avignon to Aigues-Mortes

Could anyone advice me how long it would take to travel from Avignon to Aigues-Mortes by train? Thanks.

Firstly, you%26#39;ll need to reach Nimes, either by bus or train from Avignon.

From Nimes, there are about 6 TER buses/trains daily for Aigues-Mortes.

Avignon to Nimes is around 80 minutes by the fast trains, around 2 hours by local trains. Timetable here:

Nimes to Aigues-Mortes takes about 45 minutes; timetable here; not that several %26#39;trains%26#39; are in fact buses.

Sorry, but Avignon to Nimes is by no means 80 minutes by fast train and 2 hours by local. Please do check the SNCF site before you post details such as this.

I take this route often.

Here is a copy and paste of one days travel data. As you will see trains take approx. 28 to 35 minutes one way.

I think their is some confusion here.

The route is Avignon-Nimes-Aigues Mortes

Avignon to Nimes is only about 50km.

The times above sound like Avignon - Nice ?

Sorry and deepest apologies to all above posters - I misread my Avignon - Nimes timetable despite having done several journeys in the area myself early in June.

I read that there were more strikes affecting trains today in that part of the world. I hope they don%26#39;t spread.

I am off to the Aquitaine region, depending on buses and trains, this Friday and have learned my lesson!

Something to keep in mind when boarding the TER bus (should the bus times be more convenient than the train departure times).

Departing Nimes, buses are found behind the station on the ground level, not in the station.

Departing Aigues-Mortes, buses pickup in front of the station.
