Weather in Nice this weekend?

Hey,

Wondering what the weather in Nice is like at the moment? Heading over on Thursday. Any reports I see says it is wet and cloudy!? Please say it isn%26#39;t so!!!

Check out www.meteo.fr. It%26#39;s not looking good at the moment but they give you a 5 day forecast.

Apologies, look at www.meteofrance.com instead!

:-( Mmm looks so miserable! What should I be wearing for weather like that (very wet)? I mean, is it going to be cold or will the temperature still be quite mild?

Boo to bad weather!

could someone tell me where to look on the meteo france website for the 5 day forecast that is mentioned in this thread. all i see is 4 and 7 days but u have to pay for it

The BBC is saying sunny and 27C on Saturday. Forecasts are often wrong more than a day or two ahead but it certainly won%26#39;t be below 25 degrees or so. You will be sweltering even in the unlikely event of rain.

not sure if that was in reply to me but i wont be travelling there for a week so was looking for some french sites that give forecasts but was having trouble as i said above

Try this link:

Meteo are usually hopelessly inaccurate with their 5 day forescasts but check it a day before (max 2 days) and it%26#39;s usually safe to rely-ish on their forecast.

what sites would you reccomend to use for the weather. i tend to try and find as many as possible and take it from there with averages

You really don%26#39;t need to bother about weather forecasts for the south of France in July/August. It is going to be hot and humid with the only rain likely to be in the form of thunderstorms, sometimes massive ones. Average daily maximum temperature is 29C and the low thirties are not uncommon.

I was in Nice last week when, apart from one sweltering cloudy day, there was non stop sun. Even in winter most days are sunny but in summer it is virtually guaranteed.
