We have got a late booking on a cottage in Mousterlin (postal address is 29710 Fouesnant). We will land at Quimper airport, but are unsure about whether to hire a car from Quimper airport or get a taxi.
The car hire places seem to be closed most of the day, but we have no clue about taxi fares to Mousterlin. An alternative is taxi to Quimper centre and car hire from there.
Does anyone have any suggestions/ recommendations?
Amongst other things we have never been to the area
before, so do not know whether car hire is essential or there is enough to do within walking distance of the beach/cottage or the quality/existence of busservices
Any help would be gratefully received!!

I have been based within 30 mins of here several times. Unless you just want to chill and lay on the beach, the options for public transport are restrictive, limited, and will consume a lot of your holiday time if you want to get around.
I can%26#39;t imagine how you would trvel to all there is to see without a car. Within 45 mins you have a lot of places to visit. Benodet, Concarneau, Pont Aven, Belon inlets, Locronan, Douarnez, Quimper, the western cape with lighthouse, to mention a few.
Nice area, enjoy it.
