i enjoy looking at castles while i travel throught the country side, on germany website it was easy to find where they are, any idea how to locate castles in france that i might want to stop and check out while driving????

Don%26#39;t know of a central web site.
France is organised by Department and Region, then by town. Normally (but not always) you can access the regional tourist office by searching on %26#39;cdt%26#39; plus the number of the Region. eg %26#39;cdt12%26#39; = Aveyron, then follow the links, possibly culture or history will be listed somewhere.
The Region numbers can be found from this map. Click the Department you want, then the blue arrowed button, this will list the regions and their number.
