Places o stay in the Latin quarter of Paris - cheap & clean

Basically just asking the question in the title. 5 friends in their late 20s would ike to stay in Paris in the Lain quarter and I%26#39;m looking for recomendations of hostels or cheap hotels. just somewhere clean and simple.

I speak fluent French and lived in France so language is not a barrier but I don%26#39;t know Paris as well.

Thanks for your help!

If you cannot find information on any of these, message me or comment here and I will give you more information. I got all of these from a recent article called %26quot;Inexpensive Paris: Hotels and Accomodations.%26quot; Perhaps if you google that you can find the article. It was written by Phyllis Flick. It has inexpensive restaurants also mentioned in the article.

Very cheap accomodation in the Latin Quarter, something in between a hotel and a hostel: Hotel des Allies http://www.alliesparishotel.com/

Although I%26#39;ve read some complaints in reviews, I can assure you that the rooms were clean (and spacious) when I visited Paris last year.

You can either choose for a room without a bathroom (toilet and shower in the corridor) or pay a little bit more for your own bathroom.

Would definitely stay there again!
