My daughters and I will arrive at CDG on a Monday night around 7pm. We will most likely take the Roissy Bus to town. My question is should I take a taxi from Opera to Hotel Jules (49 rue de Lafayette) or should we just walk with our luggages? Doesn%26#39;t look too far on google map but the hotel clerk said it would take around 15 to 20 mins, is that right? I don%26#39;t mind the walk but we will definitely be tired after a 10 hour flight.

It%26#39;s just under 1km, a ten-fifteen minute walk for most, but without luggage! The only problem is navigating busy sidewalks with your bags.
You could take the 42 bus, but it%26#39;s probably less trouble to walk.
You%26#39;ll be right across the street from one of our favorite places in Paris, Au General Lafayette, with a beautiful vintage Art Nouveau interior and sidewalk tables. This is a very casual place, open every day from 10AM-3AM and wonderful for coffee, lunch, dinner, snack. Prices are reasonable, and you can order as you please without worrying about sharing, etc.
