BIcycling in Lyon

My husband and I are taking a river cruise in Southern France in August that ends in Lyon. I%26#39;m not sure where the boat docks in Lyon but we wanted to use our free time there bicycling around Lyon. I know there are public bikes for use. Does anyone know of a Bike kiosk near where the river boats dock?

The boats docks are located along the Rhône river, very close to the University and to the swimming pool.

There is a bike station on the river bank, in front of the University . Here is the Velov%26#39; website for all useful info and stations map (the dock is located in the 7th arrondissement):

To be able to use it, you need a credit card with a chip inside (all credit cards in France do have a chip but I know most American cards don%26#39;t, unless you have an American Express card).
