How best to get from my hotel to Cite?

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to get your opinion on how best to get from my hotel to Ile de la Cite.

I am staying at Duquesne Eiffel Hotel in the 7th em, and the closest metro stop is Ecole Militaire.

I have looked on ratp.fr and there seem to be a lot of options.

I am leaning towards going from ecole militaire to invalides then transferring to the RER C line and getting off at St. Michel Notre Dame.

Do you all think that%26#39;s good? Buses are a good alternative if you know of a route I should take.

I prefer the buses for the scenery all along the way!

And, the metro/RER stations are chock full of stairways, hallways, and the connections involve a lot of walking.

There are half a dozen or more bus routes to all over from Place de l%26#39;Ecole Militaire. On the RATP website, click on Recherche Avancee and select %26quot;Bus%26quot; as the Mode.

But, also download the bus map with streets. Then, you can center your hotel on the map, enlarge the detail, and print for folding up and tucking in a pocket.

Hi;

%26quot;If it were me...%26quot; walk down to Avenue de Tourville to catch the 92 bus towards Montparnasse.

Take it to Duroc bus stop where you catch the #10 metro direction Gare Austerlitz. Change to the #4 at Odeon, direction Porte de Clignancourt, go two stops to Cite...

I would walk through the Champ de Mars to get the No 69 bus, get out at Chatelet and walk over the bridge. You can check the route on the rapt website.
