Does anyone know what the dress code is like for this restaurant - can men wear smart shorts and a polo shirt for dinner? Also please let me know if anyone has any comments about this restaurant!

Hello,
La Cigale is a Brasserie which means it%26#39;s not too strict. It%26#39;s lively, noisy and the %26quot;décor%26quot; is beautiful. Smart shorts and polo shirt sound fine to me. Products are really fresh, seafood is good. It%26#39;s a Brasserie so don%26#39;t expect high cuisine but it%26#39;s good. Great place for breakfast too. You need to make a reservation beacuse it%26#39;s always crowded.

I like this brasserie very much, the modern style decor is beautiful, the seafood is very good and the desserts are to die for! As a business traveller eating by myself, the kind service is a plus. Last time I had a delicious risotto with scampi and profiterolles au chocolat.

Thank you for your replies. Will definitely book a table I think! Wanted to check it out as its for my birthday dinner! If either of you have any other recommendations, then please let me know, we are in Nantes for 4 nights so have plenty of time to sample a few places! We are very keen on seafood, steaks and wine!
