we are looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel/resort in St Raphael area any ideas of where we might look?

Hotel Excelsior has one of the best locations: right on the promenade, in front of the beach, by the pedestrian street. It%26#39;s a 3 star.
The 4 star Hotel Du Golf de Valescure has a golf-club atmosphere (golf is right there, and i think you have discounted rates as hotel guest) with pine trees, pool, calmness,... It%26#39;s not walking distance from town though.
Two very different options that consistently get good ratings from their guests.
