Family of four (parents in 50%26#39;s, 2 teens) with luggage arriving in CDG-Roissy Airport on a Monday morning 8 am and going to apt. in 15th Arond. for a week.
Taxi was suggested at approx 75 Euros: is this amount accurate?
Another way to travel? Trains, bus or shuttle to another hotel then taxi? How difficult and approx price?
Suggestions please. Thank you.

With luggage, after an overnight flight, a taxi is the most convenient. It would probably be at least 9AM by the time you clear passport control, pick up your bags, and get to the taxi stand, so Monday morning traffic may have subsided somewhat. Taxi fare would probably be €55-65, plus €2.75 for the 4th person and €1 for each bag after the first weighing over 5kg, in addition to the metered fare, plus 10% tip.
You could economize some with other methods, but it probably wouldn%26#39;t be worth the savings, all of which are quite literally a %26quot;drag%26quot;.
Once at your apartment, be sure to walk around the neighborhood for patisseries, a grocery store, convenience store, etc. You%26#39;ll save a fortune by stocking up on beverages, snacks, breakfast foods. Also look for shops with pre-prepared takeaway foods.
And, you may want to locate the nearest Picard (www.picard.fr - enter your zip code for a map of stores and list of hours for each), which is an amazing frozen food emporium - and, not what you%26#39;d presume.
