A few years ago I read about a village in southwest France where there were a number of English-language bookshops. Can%26#39;t remember the name of the place and wonder if someone could give me the information. Thanks.

There are quite a few shops that I know of that sell English books, the bookstore in Le Bugue,a few in Sarlat. There is even an English Libary in Meyrals.
There is also a fella that sells excellent and rare English books at various markets, he is always at St Cyprien on Sunday.
Probably the village you heard about was Eymet, they have everything in English, and run by the English.
To be honest, unless you are looking for something out of the ordinary, you will not have much trouble finding English books.
