Breakfast in Dinard

We are travelling on the overnight ferry to St Malo, so we arrive about 8.30 am, and we can%26#39;t get in to our accommodation in Dinard until late afternoon.

Any ideas for where we might go for breakfast, please?

I suggest that you have the breakfast buffet in the main restaurant on the ferry, last time we crossed I think it was £5.80 for all you could eat, children half-price. Food includes cereals toast, pastries, fruit yogout, ham, cheese etc. Cooked breakfast was 2 to 3 pounds extra.

Ah you are made of sterner stuff than me! Given that my body clock stays on uk time for a few days, I can only manage a cup of tea on the boat :-( also we do need to kill a bit of time once we arrive in Dinard :-)

Well hooray I seem to have solved the problem. We have stayed at the Novotel in Dinard in the past; I emailed them to ask whether non-residents can have breakfast, and this is fine, so I know where we are headed, and we can go to St Enogat Beach for the rest of the day if weather is fine, or book a day pass at the hotel spa if it is nasty :-)

Or you could always buy grub from the Boulangerie and eat it on the beach like we did. Added to the sense of being on hols.
