shopping for basics on a Sunday

Arriving in Nice on a Saturday night-where can I

shop for basic foodstuffs on a Sunday?

Quite a few supermarkets are open on a Sunday morning and some are open all day Sunday during the summer - Monoprix supermarket in Place Garibaldi is open all day Sunday this summer.

If you%26#39;re arriving out of the main tourist season, then there are usually shops open in the old town, as well as the market on Cours Saleya (until midday), or on the street on the west side of Place Grimaldi going towards the sea.

SuperMarche open on Boulevard Gambetta.

We recently stayed in Rue Maccarani, where there is a Spar supermarket which was open 7 days a week.
