Jules Verne

Thoughts on how much a meal at Jules Verne will cost and whether or not it is worth it for a 10 year anniversary?? Thanks.

My husband and I were thinking of doing the same thing for our 10th anniversary when we go to Paris this August. Based on previous forums and the Jules Verne website, we figured it was going to cost us about $700 or more (actually since our dollar is even worse against the Euro, it is probably a fair bit more). Reviews say that the food is fabulous and of course the view is spectacular, but for $700 to $1,000 for dinner, we didn%26#39;t feel it would be worth it. We could be very wrong though...

Cost will depend on what you%26#39;re drinking. I think it%26#39;s a good spot for an anniversary celebration, although I could think of more places I%26#39;d rather go to, but only because I%26#39;ve been at Jules Verne and wouldn%26#39;t care to come back as this place is not about food, but rather about the table by the window, which can make the experience worth it. I haven%26#39;t been back since Ducasse took over, so things might have improved. There%26#39;s more than a handful of great restaurants in Paris to consider for an anniversary, I%26#39;d suggest you research them in addition to Jules Verne.
