We want to go to Corsica, but WHERE?

Hello

me and my soon to be husband want to go to Corsica for our honeymoon. We want wonderful beaches, clear water, delicious dining, reasonable prices (or at least lots of choices when it comes to dining) beutiful views, things to do and things to look at.

Not only relaxing and lying on the beach even if the beach is important.

Where on Corsica do they have the greatest beaches and which town/city do you think has the most to offer, regarding everything. I just want everything to be perfect.

Do you have some hotels you can recommend, that doesn´t cost to much. We just want it to be cosy, comfortable and have a really nice breakfast.

Pleeeeaaaase give me a lot of answers :-)

Forgot to say that we´d like to stay in a hotel that´s central, and we love markets and it wouldn´t be to bad with some good shopping :-)

It depends of course also if you plan a roundtrip on Corsica and staying at different places. If you want to stay at a specific place, note that it not will be easy to visit many places in Corsica.

Corsica is simply BEAUTIFUL for nature and several town. (and I can assure you that I visited a lot worldwide)

Would recommend you rent a car:

- don%26#39;t take a too big size, as a lot of towns and villages are small and a big car can be difficult to park. Plus if you have some small roads as the Restonica valley... beautiful but not easy to drive if there is a lot of traffic

- don%26#39;t plan too long trips as the roads are turning in an incredible way. The only straight right road is between Bonifacio and Bastia!

- now don%26#39;t understand me wrong: the roads are certainly good in Corsica and indications are also good. Only there are a lot of turns!

A few examples for visiting:

- Calvi is indeed nice

- Porto and the beautiful natural reserve of Scandola that you visit by boat trip

- Bonifacio is wonderful. You have also to make a boat trip to see the white cliffs with the town on top of it. Note that if you take a boat trip to the Lavezzi Islands you come out of the port of Bonifacio alongside the cliffs and go to Lavezzi (isles) also natural reservation where you can go on land and stay at one of the beaches and take the boat back.

- Corte at the inside and the Restonica Valley

- of course Bastia and Ajaccio

Note that the east side (Italian side) Corsica is rather flat with large sandy beaches. Around Aleria half way Porto Vecchio / Bastia there are many inclusive some naturist beaches

With regard to the hotels, you can find the different hotels in Corsica with the reviews and photos I made.

You click my pseudo and you can see them all under %26quot;reviews%26quot;

In Corsica the food is excellent on most of the places.
