Honeymooning in Paris- ONLY HAVE 3 Days!!! Help!

Hi everyone! My fiance and I will be spending the first part of our honeymoon in Paris this August, but only have 3 full days there! There is so much to do and see in Paris, but we don%26#39;t want to overwhelm ourselves. Do you have any recommendations for tours/restaurants...things we absolutely %26quot;must do/see%26quot; while we%26#39;re there? I greatly appreciate any advice you can give us! Thank you!

We spent 3 days in Paris and felt we covered quite a bit for the time we had. We used the L%26#39;Open bus which is a hop on/hop off bus that took us all over. We spent one entire day devoted to museums and crammed in the Louvre as one of them.

Depends on what you want to see. I would suggest you get a Paris guide book (buy or library) and get an idea of what you would like to do - then repost your questions with more specifics in mind.

A %26quot;Must See%26quot; is the Opera Garnier where they have opera and ballet. You can take yourself on a %26quot;self-tour%26quot; there or go on an English-speaking tour. Since you will be very busy, I suggest a self-tour. That way you aren%26#39;t on someone else%26#39;s schedule. I believe this is the most beautiful building in Paris. The ceiling was done by Marc Chagall and every single think about this building says %26quot;magnificent.%26quot;

The other thing I wouldn%26#39;t miss is to go up to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. That way you get to see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier which is at the base of the Arc and when you are on top, you get to see the roundabout where the 12 roads come together around the Arc and you get to see a magnificent view of Paris which includes seeing the Eiffel Tower. Take notice of how all of the buildings directly around the Arc have exactly the same architecture. It is fabulous!

Firstly, congratulations on your upcoming wedding. My fiance and I are thinking of going to NYC for our honeymoon!

I would agree about the Arc de Triomphe, and would add a river cruise, maybe in the evening, not too hot. If you like art, consider the Orsay as well as (for me, instead of) the Louvre. If you plan on seeing a few museums, do consider a museum pass - saves valuable queuing time, especially useful if it%26#39;s hot.

Notre Dame is great, and going up the towers was a wonderful experience, to see the gargoyles and the bells close up.

I love the Chartier restaurant - I know it gets mixed reviews but I%26#39;ve obviously been lucky. The room itself is great - a 19th century huge space, and the food is cheap enough to make it worth the room alone, and the waiters who write your order on the paper tablecloths! They do great kirs too.

Have a wonderful time and post back when you%26#39;re home again.
