We are considering France as the destination for our summer holiday starting 6/7th September but aren%26#39;t sure.
We are a couple and sister - 1 40 year old, 1 32 year old and 1 28 year old. May also be worth adding that we%26#39;re a mixed race couple (this is sometimes an issue in some of the places we%26#39;ve been)
We want a self catering appartment somewhere reasonably quiet but within walking distance (say 15 minutes walk) from a/some restaurants. We want nice weather and somewhere to relax, eat good food and generally chill out.
We don%26#39;t want anywhere really touristy. We%26#39;ve been to a few places before and have arrived to find PukkaPies %26amp; football shirts everywhere which isn%26#39;t what we wanted at all!
Any advice most gratefully received.

France is an very big country -- and has areas appealing to any possible interest. She is blessed with regions that each have their own appeal, from beaches to mountains, and everything in between.
You should visit a bookshop or library, and pick up a guide or two -- read through them, and see how the different regions stack up against your interests.
Then come back here and we%26#39;ll help you fine tune your trip.
