Where going to Brittany for the first time. Can anyone inform me what there is to do in Saint Brieuc and Saint-Quay-Portrieux. For children and adults.

Too bad you weren%26#39;t in St-Brieuc this week! That%26#39;s when the Tour de France was there.

St Brieuc is an interesting hilly town, but the main attractions are the beaches and the mainly smallish resorts. North eastwards are le Val Andre, Erquy,Sables D%26#39;or les Pins, and the cliff top Cap Frehel and Fort La Latte, and further are St Cast le Guildo and Dinard. North Westwards is Binic and St Quay Portrieux and Paimpol. There is a steam train trip from Paimpol to Pontrieux which is very scenic.
The whole area is not spectacular but generally very pleasant.
