Beaches nr Nice

Hi - Can anyone tell me the best beaches around Nice and how to get to them by public transport. We would ideally like a nice sandy beach.

the two sandy beaches nearest Nice are in Ville Franche, just a train stop east of Nice or a short bus ride, and in Beaulieu/Cap Farrat, the next stop east. Ville Franche has a small beach but it is s sand beach and Beaulieu has a larger beach.

There is a nice beach in Villefranche. There is also a great sandy beach in Antibes. We just arrived home yeaterday and loved it!You can get there easily by train from the Niceville station.
