Quickest way to get to Val D'Europe from CDG airport ?

I am planning a cheap trip to disneyland with our 3yr and 18 mth old boys in Sept. Hoping to stay at Hotel L%26#39;Elysee in Val D%26#39;Europe as having visted disney pre-kids I remember it was a 5min train ride away from the parks and so much cheaper than staying on the disney grounds.

Last time we did the bus shuttle and remember it was quite slow and lengthy.

Want to go by train, but want to know:

1) where to get the train from (i%26#39;m guessing CDG has a rail station)

2) how long does it take by train and how many changes ?

3) how much would it cost?

I have heard of this %26#39;fast bullet%26#39; train and the normal RER train.

Thanks!

Hi deedeeleicester

If You click on the left on the hotel You want to stay in and read the reviews You might get an idea about time. Sorry cant Help You more here.

But I would compare the price with example Santa Fee or cheyenne hotel price The prices is included the tickets. Just because it seems easier to stay at Disneyland.

Hi, The rate I got to stay at this hotel is from Disneys website and includes park tickets for 4 nts total for 2 adults and 2 kids £400. Other disney hotels were £100 more.

Ok Its just if You have to pay for train back and fowards and putting child and trolleys in and out of the train is seemd easier to stay onsite, but of course if its so much cheaper,

Every month disneylansite have an extra offer for that month It may be cheaper. I dont know.

You can look at what sastro have said.

%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;I want to use the TGV, can I just show up and buy tickets??%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;

Yes but prices can vary.

Here is a list of all of the CDG to DLP options:

1. TGV

(non refundable fares vary depending upon departure time from 15€ to 30€)

Travel time 9-10 minutes

http://www.voyages-sncf.com/

depart: AEROPORT CDG 2 TGV (95) arrive: MARNE LA VALLEE CHESSY

2. Bus (VEA)

http://www.vea.fr/uk/index.asp

Adults – 17€, children under 12 – 13€

Departures every 20 minutes from 8:55 a.m. until 8:05 p.m. except:

Until 8:25 p.m. on Monday %26amp; Thursday

Plus 10:25 p.m. on Friday

Plus 9:55 p.m. on Sunday

Travel time about 1 hour

3. RER (train/métro)

http://www.ratp.com/

RER Line B towards Chatelet-Les Halles; change to Line A for Marne-La Vallee/Disneyland

This is probably the cheapest option (8.20€) but it can take up to 2 hours.

4. Shuttle

paris-blue-airport-shuttle.fr/index_en.php

Private shuttle from 1 to 8 people – 60€ to 100€

Shared ride from 1 to 8 people – 45€ to 12.50€ per person

http://www.paris-shuttle.com/

Private shuttle from 1 to 6 people – 80€ to 95€

Shared ride from 1 to 6 people – 45€ to 15€ per person

Travel time about 1 hour

Reliability varies

5. Taxi

http://www.taxisg7.com/

Convenient but can be expensive

Travel time about 1 hour

Cost estimate: 75€+

Most hotels have transportation from DLP/Chessy. There is a free %26quot;pink shuttle bus%26quot; that connects a large number of hotels in the area. This free shuttle can be very crowded and difficult to board at times, particularly with luggage and children.

I have been into the www.disneylandparis.com

And it says for Santa Fee and for elysee val de europe that it start a 111 pound for both of the hotels

4 nights at the Santa Fee was 450 pound

3 nights at the Santa Fee was 396 pound

If You seek for three nights I have found out that they give You and extra day cheaper then if You seek four days to start with.

Hi Mutter,

Thanks for the info.

My reasoning for staying slightly out was that I remember last time we stayed at Cheyanne and it was about 5 mins bus ride on a very busy cramped bus ! and with a 3 yr old and 18 mth old and a pushchair it would be a nightmare ! I remember the train being so much easier whilst we went to sealife.

I think our best option will be the Fast train and them get off at disney and go back to the val d%26#39;europe stop.

Hi deedee

The hotel looks better than the Santa Fee also so go for what You feel its right for You.

It is also a great shopping /restaurants at the marne le valle also and much cheaper than the Disney restaurants.
