Which one..??

Me and my wife will be coming to Paris for honeymoon next week 15th... We booked for Hotel Britannique after a long search.. :) Now there is one last issue for us.. How to get to our hotel from CDG..?? The hotel offered us a shared shuttle from Airport Connection shuttle service for 36€ total... It%26#39;s our first time in Paris (and also it%26#39;s our honeymoon) so I want everything to be close to perfect.. Should I go for the shuttle service or can I use RER..??

for your honeymoon, the deal is limoservice (hihihi)...

But cheaper you have the Roissy bus from CDG to Place de l%26#39;Opéra (8 euros p.p), then the bus 21 direction Porte de Gentilly, your stop will be Le Chatelet, you are not fare from your hotel ...RER is not a good idea, depending of your arrival time, but feasable, stop at Le Chatelet station ...

We%26#39;re arriving around 11 AM will it be a problem..??

IMO the hotel shuttle or better -a taxi. You can snuggle and kiss as you get your first glance of Paris and you can cling to each other as the taxi driver whirls thru the traffic!!! Should be around 50 euro

If you have buckets of money, then take a taxi. If not, take the hotel shuttle and then snuggle in your private hotel room. 36E is a pretty good price. The taxi will be about 50-60E. You choose.

Do not take the metro or bus and have to be walking around figuring out where you are going. This is your honeymoon. I would tell you not to do this if it wasn%26#39;t your honeymoon!

Your hotel is only a block from Chatelet Metro/RER station!

Except that it is your honeymoon.......... a taxi or Limo is a great splurge to get to your hotel........ Ask them to circle the periphique to Ave. de la Grand Armee and you can have the taxi drive around the Arch du Triomphe for that %26quot;wow, I%26#39;m in Paris%26quot; moment....... I did that for my first trip to Paris - it was great, but I know enough now that I don%26#39;t need to spend that kind of money just to get from the airport into Paris - I%26#39;d rather spend the money on a good meal!

Otherwise, the RER fare for two people from CDG to Chatelet/Les Halles is only $20.00 Euro max!

If you want %26quot;perfect%26quot; take a taxi or a Limo. If you don%26#39;t feel you%26#39;ll be too tired from the journey following your wedding, take the RER.

The directions for the RER are on your hotel%26#39;s website. It%26#39;s one train, several stops, but no changes of the train. RER B runs direct from CDG to Chatelet/Les Halles.

Duration of the ride: 45 mn Rate: 7,85 €

Take RER B direction Paris, get off at Chatelet-les-Halles

Follow the exit %26quot;Place du chatelet - Théatre du Chatelet%26quot;

Take the exit %26quot;Théatre du Chatelet%26quot;. You arrive in front of a café %26quot;the Zimmer%26quot;.

You are on avenue Victoria, we are on the right side of the street.

Either way, congratulations!

Evrak as most of TA members say, take a taxi (it%26#39;s your honeymoon and your first time in Paris !!) and anyway avoid the RER ...
