Hello all. We%26#39;re looking for some tips on unique toy stores in Paris -- not the typical Disney Store or Toys R Us kind of places, but those uniquely Parisian. Any tips? Thanks!

Hi,

I’m the owner of Tumbleweed... and an avid traveller so I’m on the forum from time to time.

The film about my shop that bowis101 mentioned is also here on TA, on Paris “Traveler Videos”. Amusingly, I didn’t post the film here (TurnHere.com did).

In any case, yes, please do come and visit Tumbleweed. The shop is thimble-sized and my selection of merchandise is always changing. You won’t find the same toys that are shown in the film... but the spirit of the shop remains the same.

There are toys (and accessories) for children as well as grown-ups. The work is handmade and comes from many different artists/makers/designers from many different countries, mainly in Europe. Most of the pieces are quirky, clever, challenging and/or beautiful.
